Jim Drummond -

Jim’s professional career began with rock band Strangeways, with whom he recorded five albums over twelve years and opened shows for many of Rock’s big names such as Meatloaf, Bryan Adams, Europe and The Kinks. He has worked with musicians of all styles – Scottish singers Mae McKenna and Barbara Dickson, Japanese singer Imeko Shiratori, and the late sax legend Dick Heckstall-Smith. He has recently recorded with Blair Douglas, John Goldie and Fiona Mackenzie. He played on the TV theme for the BAFTA-winning BBC comedy, “Dear Green Place”.
Jim has toured with Fish, Horse, gigged with Hue and Cry and, as well as playing drums in The Donnie Munro Band, is currently a member of The Euen Stevenson Trio and The Joni Keen Quartet.
