News Update 17/01/10 Saturday 29th May - The Maltings, Berwick Upon Tweed Advanced notice of a new concert taking place right on the Scottish Borders at The Maltings, Berwick Upon Tweed. Berwick is just off the main A1 road. Tickets for the seated venue are expected to be on sale around the middle of February priced £16.50 each. More details to follow. News Update 04/01/10 Langholm Concert Tickets now on sale. Tickets are now on sale for the concert on Friday 26th February at the Buccleuch Centre, Langholm. Tickets are priced £20 each and can be purchased directly from the venue's Box Office on 01387 381196 or via their website. Support on the night will be The SImple Touch. The venue is also offering a special pre-concert meal, which was a great success the last time we visited the theatre. Please book your meal when you order your ticket. News Update 30/12/09 Donnie's 2009 End Of Year Message Once again Donnie has taken time out from his busy life to send all the fans an End of Year message. To read the message click here News Update 18/12/09 Rock4Life, Bogbain Farm, Inverness - Saturday 1st May 2010 We are pleased to announce that Donnie and the band will be the opening act for a new rock festival to be held on the weekend of 1st and 2nd May 2010 at Bogbain Farm just outside Inverness. The festival is called Rock4Life and will be raising a hoped for £250,000 for the Highland Hospice in Inverness. The headline act on the Saturday is Status Quo and the Sunday headline act is due to be announced in the New Year - a big International rock star who won't disappoint. Tickets are on sale now £45 each for Saturday, £55 for the Sunday or £90 for the whole weekend. The last time Donnie played there was Aug 2007 and he is delighted to be returning again to this venue. Tickets can be booked directly through the Box Office in Morecambe on telephone 01524 582803 (Open 9am-5pm) or online through www.ents24.com. This is an unreserved seating concert. Also on the previous night we will again be re-visiting another venue from 2007, this time the Buccleuch Centre in Langholm, Scotland. Details have still to be finalised with this concert so notickets are on sale yet. **** News Update 15/12/09 **** *** Oban Hogmanay Concert - Change of Venue Update*** The Donnie Munro Band will be headlining at the party in The Corran Halls, while Skerryvore will headline in The Skipinnish Ceilidh House. The reason for the split is simply to accommodate numbers. Anyone who has already bought their ticket will be entitled to change it for either of the parties or to claim a full refund. No further tickets will be released for sale until all existing ticket holders have made their decisions. It is expected that a few people may opt for a refund, and those tickets will then be available for purchase. Oban Community Events Group will be releasing a contact e-mail address shortly and asking all ticket holders from outwith the Oban area to get in touch. Locals will be able to exchange their tickets at designated outlets in the town. Donnie is very much looking forward to bringing in the New Year in Oban. It's going to be a great party! News Update 11/11/09 Donnie Munro and his band will be performing at Kilmarnock on Sunday 29th November as part of the Christmas Lights switch on festival. Donnie will be performing between 3pm and 4pm in the afternoon. This is a free concert so you just need to get yourself along and enjoy the atmosphere - there will be other artists performing both before and after Donnie's concert. News Updates 15/09/09 The Donnie Munro Band will be appearing on stage alongside a whole host of other artists at thisyear's 2009 Scot Trad Music Awards concert on Saturday 28th The Journey Newsletter The first newsletter for this website is now available to download from the website now. Todownload simply click on the image to the right here and the newsletter will be downloaded to your computer. You need to have installed a copy of Adobe's Acrobat Reader which most computers will have installed already. If you don't have Acrobat Reader installed it can be downloaded from Adobe's website. We would welcome your contributions to the next newsletter which hopefully will be available at the end of the year. News Update 30/06/09 This concert is a fund raising concert to help raise money for the paddle steamer The Waverley, so we would like to see as many of you along there as possible. There may be a change to the time this concert starts from evening to afternoon which hopefully will be finalised after this weekend's concerts. Once this has been confirmed we can hopefully post ticket details News Update 06/05/09 Making it a "Donnie Double" over the weekend of 16th/17th October, we are happy to announce Donnie Munro and the Band will perform on Friday 16th October at the Paisley Town Hall, Paisley. Paisley is just outside Glasgow and very close to Glasgow Airport. With the Isle of Bute concert the following day it will be yet again another wonderful weekend for all of Donnie's fans. News Update 02/06/09 Tickets are now on sale for another new concert - this time on Saturday 25th July at the Vikingar Theatre in Largs. Start time is 8pm with doors open at 7.30pm. News Update 30/05/09 The tickets for the concert at the Gala Theatre in Durham are now on sale through the venue's website www.galadurham.co.uk or via the Box Office on telephone 0191 332 4041 (Mon to Sat 10am-8.30pm or Sunday 1.30pm to 8.30pm - tickets are priced at £18.50 each. Donnie will perform both prior and after midnight. The event has been a huge success in previous years with 7000 new year revellers attending the 2008 event so this year promises to be another great way to see the old year out and bring in the new year in the company of Donnie and the band. The evening event will also feature part of the squad from the famous 1983 Aberdeen Football Clubs Gothenburg Greats team. The special evening, which includes a six course dinner will feature music from Clanadonia, Seeing Red and of course our own Donnie Munro.
